LIVERPOOL - Tonggak Liverpool, Jamie Carragher mengingatkan rakan sepasukannya bahawa mereka bakal menerima padah jika terlalu memandang rendah kemampuan Standard Liege apabila turun pada aksi kedua pusingan kelayakan ketiga Liga Juara-Juara di Anfield hari ini.
Skuad bimbingan Rafael Benitez itu yang muncul juara eropah pada tahun 2005 nyata gementar untuk menghadapi perlawanan kedua di gelanggang sendiri menentang juara dari Belgium itu.
Situasi itu hadir selepas kedua-dua pasukan mencatat keputusan seri tanpa jaringan pada pertemuan pertama dua minggu ini.

"Sudah tentu mereka akan menjadi lawan yang sukar dalam saingan kelayakan Liga Juara-Juara. Saya sedar orang ramai menjangkakan kami akan melayakkan diri tetapi sebaliknya jika kami bermain seperti sebuah pasukan Mickey Mouse.
"Liga Belgium mempunyai banyak kualiti dan juara-juara mereka berjaya melayakkan diri ke peringkat kumpulan. Kami berdepan satu perlawanan yang sukar menentang Anderlecht beberapa tahun yang lalu, jadi saya tidak terkejut jika Liege menyukarkan kami.
