Anelka would be welcomed back by Paris Saint Germain

Nicolas Anelka would be welcomed back at Paris Saint Germain, the club he began his career at when 17.

Chairman Charles Villeneuve says he would love to see the current Chelsea star back in Paris.

"Yes I would life to see Nicolas Anelka back at PSG," he told L'Equipe.

MILAN DIRECTOR EXPECTING SHEVA ARRIVAL

AC Milan director Silvano Ramaccioni believes Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko is on the verge of securing a return to the San Siro.

The Ukraine striker has endured two disappointing years at Stamford Bridge following a big-money move from Milan.

Reports suggest Shevchenko could return to Milan in what would initially be a season-long loan deal following a meeting between former club president Silvio Berlusconi and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in Sardinia last Thursday.

The Italian press claim the deal will be finalised on Thursday or at the latest 24 hours later and Ramaccioni agrees.

"Shevchenko in the Rossoneri shirt? There really isn't much more to be done," he told Radio Goal.

"We are close to the end of the deal and I hope that these little things that have to be fulfilled are done as soon as possible.

"I would be extremely delighted if Shevchenko returns to Milan and I am ready to embrace the Ukraine champion again, for us it's about a return home."

Shevchenko is AC Milan's second-most prolific goalscorer of all-time having scored 127 goals in 208 games during a seven-year career.

Chelsea agree to send Shevchenko back to AC Milan

Chelsea will allow Andriy Shevchenko to return to AC Milan.
The Daily Mail says with the Blues on the verge of landing Real Madrid ace Robinho, Sheva has been told by Chelsea that he can return to AC Milan on a one-year loan after a disastrous spell in the Barclays Premier League.

Chelsea are prepared to take a massive financial hit on the deal, by paying Milan to take back the Ukraine striker.

Shevchenko, 31, is expected to return to the San Siro in the next 48 hours, two years after he joined Chelsea for £30m. The 2004 European Footballer of the Year will have part of his £5m-a-year contract covered by Chelsea.

KAKA TO STAY WITH MILAN

Kaka has revealed his intention to remain at AC Milan rather than join the Brazilian contingent at Chelsea led by Luiz Felipe Scolari.

Chelsea have been linked with a world-record 80million bid for playmaker Kaka and they are also close to signing Robinho from Real Madrid.

There had been suggestions Kaka would be used as part of the deal that took Andriy Shevchenko back to the San Siro this week.

But Kaka told Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Me going to Chelsea? I'm staying as a Rossoneri player.

"I should help Milan to win the trophies we're up for this season.

"The club have made some great signings and Sheva will fit in without any problems.

"I can't say [if I've been included in the Shevchenko deal], because if someone has promised me to (Chelsea owner Roman) Abramovich, it wasn't me.

"I've always said I'm happy at Milan and as long as my aims remain the same as Milan's I'll stay here. Until now it's always been that way.

"My goal is to win, Milan's is too. As long as we are like that, I'll remain at Milan."

WRIGHT-PHILLIPS RETURNS TO CITY

Manchester City have completed the signing of Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old, who had a seven-year spell with City from 1998 until 2005, has signed a four-year contract after completing a medical.

Wright-Phillips told City's official website: "Obviously I'm delighted to come back to City and I just can't wait to get started again."

The winger left City for Stamford Bridge in July 2005, for a fee of £21million.

However, he started only 43 matches for the Blues and became frustrated at a lack of first-team action.

City boss Mark Hughes said: "I've always admired him and he's certainly been a target of mine since I came to the football club.

"To actually secure the deal and bring Shaun back home is a fantastic coup for us and I'm sure the supporters will be just as excited as we are to have him back at Manchester City."

Wright-Phillips is expected to be presented to the media at a press conference at the City of Manchester Stadium on Friday.
