Arsenal To Make January Giovinco Bid
With Sebastian Giovinco’s future at Juventus looking far from secure, sections of the English press are tipping Arsenal to make a January transfer bid for the starlet.
Giovinco is regarded as one of Europe’s most explosive young talents, but his future at Juventus could be in limbo as he has been in a contract dispute with the club all summer.
The 21-year-old is demanding an increase in salary to €1m a year but so far the club’s management is refusing to meet his demands.
Yesterday Giovinco appeared to express his frustration at this situation when he stated: “My renewal with Juventus is not a priority and to be honest I couldn’t care less whether the contract is renewed or not.”
Giovinco has been linked with a move to Premiership giants Arsenal repeatedly over the last few months, with manager Arsene Wenger known to be a huge admirer of his creativity, flair and fantasy.
Reports in England claim that The Gunners will table a bid for the attacking midfielder in January and, due to the current contract dispute, are confident of getting their man.
Giovinco is also said to be unhappy after he was left on the bench for the entirety of Juventus’ opening day of the season draw against Fiorentina last week. With hot competition up-front for Juve, a move to Arsenal may attract him, given Wenger’s famed reputation for blooding youth.

Arsenal dh buat rancangan untuk januari pnya transfer...tp rumour jer stakat nie...mungkin jgk wenger akan berbelanja lg?? ....wenger jer yg tahu....hahhahha...

GUNNERS IN FOR BRAZILIAN????
Arsenal are considering a move for Brazilian midfielder Mineiro, according to reports.
The Brazilian international is looking for a new club after leaving Hertha Berlin earlier this summer.
Mineiro's free agent status has alerted Gunners boss Arsene Wenger as he seeks to bring in a new midfielder to bolster his options.
Wenger failed to land a defensive midfielder during the transfer window and he is now thought to be pondering the merits of a move for Mineiro and Ghana's Stephen Appiah, who is also available on a free transfer.
According to SkySports.com, Mineiro is believed to have visited Arsenal's training ground earlier this week after being invited by the club.
Birmingham are also thought to be looking at the 33-year-old, who scored the winning goal against Liverpool in the Fifa World Club Championship final in 2005.
It remains to be seen if Wenger follows up his initial interest in Mineiro and offers the South American a move to Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal boss Wenger keen to reunite Toure brothers
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure.
The Daily Mail says Wenger could launch a raid for Toure in the January transfer window after the Catalan club admitted his future was in doubt.
The 25-year-old Ivory Coast international midfielder has lost his first-team place at the Nou Camp this season and would jump at the chance of teaming up with his brother Kolo at The Emirates.
Yaya signed for Barca in 2007 for around £6.5m but has made just 25 appearances for the club.

Arsenal Wanted Me - Distin
Portsmouth defender Sylvain Distin has let it be known that Arsenal were hot on his trail not so long ago.
Speaking in a recent interview with Foot Mercato, the 30-year-old substantiated old reports that Arsene Wenger was contemplating making a move for him, while also admitting that he was surprised and disappointed by the abrupt nature of Harry Redknapp's departure from the club.
"There was nothing serious, just an approach in order to know what my situation was, but no serious offer," he said on Arsenal's prior interest.
"PSG remain in my heart," he was keen to stress. "They are the club that made me grow and that educated me. If tomorrow I am to return to France, my priority will be Paris."
Moving on to his old boss, who is now at Tottenham, Distin said:"Personally, Redknapp disappointed me because he did not tell us about his departure.
"Some players realised he had gone by watching TV in the evening or the morning after, just before the game. Then you have to move on."

arsenal mmg perlukan defender..yahya toure mmg sesuai sbb dia blh main DMF..sesuai utk bola tinggi..tp selain tu arsenal perlukan defender yg roburst...ala2 gattuso ker..roberto carlos ke. utk bek tgh...sbb bek kiri kanan dah solid(sagna & clichy)...tp kalu dia amik arshavin pn ok gak...back-up nasri yg aku tgk xde geng nak main 1-2...papepun hrp wenger akn beli pemain yg btul kali ni..sbb aku rasa pembelian silvestr mmg x brbaloi..

Arshavin joins Arsenal till 2012: club sources
Russia international midfielder Andrei Arshavin of Zenit St Petersburg has joined Arsenal till June 2012 for 12 million pounds (13.3 million euros), sources at the Premiership club said on Monday.
The Gunners are now merely waiting on the Premier League to sign all the necessary paperwork for the deal to be made official.
The fee was far from the initial asking price the reigning UEFA Cup winners wanted of 20 million pounds, but included a substantial performance-linked bonus.
Several hours after the 1730GMT transfer deadline passed, there was still no formal confirmation of Arshavin's transfer.
However, it appeared the hold-up was primarily to do with the difficulty the Premier League had in processing the sheer volume of late deadline day deals and that the move would go through on Tuesday.
Conflicting signals had been emerging from Arsenal's Emirates stadium and Russia throughout the day as the deadline came and went and a Zenit club spokesman had even said the deal had fallen through.
The deal apparently hit a last-minute snag when Zenit demanded a portion of Arshavin's signing on fee.
But other Russia news agencies were reporting that a deal had been struck on a three-and-a half year contract.
Gazeta.ru site nnounced that Arshavin, one of the stars at Euro 2008, had passed his medical and was now an Arsenal player, inheriting the Gunners' number 13 shirt.
He will probably not make his debut for the Gunners for a few weeks because he will have to work on physical conditioning to adapt to the rigours of the English game.
The 27-year-old was a major revelation at the Euro 2008 tournament when Russia reached the semi-finals, losing to eventual champions Spain.
Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has on many occasions spoken of his admiration for the player.

Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that Russian international midfielder, Andrey Arshavin has joined the Gunners from Zenit St. Petersburg on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.
Arshavin, 27, who played a key part in Zenit’s UEFA Cup winning campaign last season, was also a member of the Russian EURO 2008 squad in which he scored two goals from his three appearances, earning him a place in the ‘Team of the Tournament’.
Arshavin won the Russian Premier League with Zenit in 2007, making a total of 232 appearances for his previous club, scoring 51 goals. During his time with Zenit, he was also part of the winning team that picked up the Russian Super Cup in 2008, the Russian Premier League Cup in 2003 and featured in the UEFA Super Cup victory over Manchester United in Monaco last August.
With 41 international caps for Russia, Arshavin has scored a total of 15 goals for his country. His versatility has allowed him to play in a variety of positions; the 2006 Russian Footballer of the Year started his career as a right midfielder, but has since played as an attacking midfielder and more recently has filled the ‘second striker’s’ role.
Manager Arsène Wenger said: “We are delighted to have signed Andrey Arshavin, he is a player I have admired for a long time. He is a versatile player with great experience, who will add real quality to our squad. Andrey is an exciting impact player with a huge amount of ability and has been an influential force with both Zenit St Petersburg and the Russian national team in recent seasons.”
After completing his move to the Gunners, Arshavin said: “I am so happy to be joining Arsenal. They are one of the leading football clubs in the world, with a group of fantastic young players and a great manager. I am looking forward to making the Arsenal supporters happy and helping this great Club win trophies.”
Ivan Gazidis, Chief Executive of Arsenal Football Club added: “Andrey was identified by Arsène as a quality creative player that would add something special to this youthful but talented squad. The Board has always backed the manager with his transfer targets and we are delighted to welcome Andrey to the Club where he will help us to challenge for honours this season.”
Due to his participation in the UEFA Champions League with Zenit St Petersburg this season, Andrey will not be available to play for Arsenal in this competition for the remainder of the 2008/09 season.
Andrey will wear the number 23 shirt.
