QUOTE: Ramsey tells Cardiff: I choose Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey has told Cardiff City that he wants to join Arsenal.
Cardiff have accepted £5million bids from Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester United and Everton.
The winger has held talks with all three clubs and has now decided upon a move to Emirates Stadium, having flown out to Switzerland to meet Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
A statement on Cardiff's official website read: "Cardiff City were informed on Friday morning that Aaron Ramsey's preferred destination this summer is at the Emirates Stadium with Arsenal.
"We will now continue the dialogue with the Gunners with a view to Aaron's move being completed.
"The move unlike other options however does not include a loan back period at Ninian Park for the 2008/09 season."
Arsenal boss Wenger welcomes Ramsey signing
Arsenal have completed the signing of Aaron Ramsey, Cardiff City's teenage midfielder, "on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee".
The 17-year-old chose to move to Emirates Stadium ahead of Manchester United, the Champions League and Premier League champions, as well as Everton after all three clubs expressed interest in the Wales Under-21 international.
"We're delighted to have signed Aaron Ramsey," Arsene Wenger said. "He is a young player who has shown huge potential with his performances for both Cardiff City and Wales at under-17 and under-21 levels. He is still only 17, but has already shown that he is a very intelligent and mature player with great quality.
"Although he mainly plays in midfield, Aaron is a versatile player and can also play across the defence. We are all looking forward to welcoming Aaron to the club for our pre-season preparations."

Gervais reveals Arsenal interest
Le Mans' Ivory Coast International Gervinho has announced that Arsenal are keen on his services.
The skilful 21-year-old, whose given name is Gervais Yao Kouassi, counts Gunners boss Arsene Wenger as one of his admirers, but insists that both he and Le Mans are fully committed to each other - at least for the time being.
"I know Wenger likes signing young players," he said. "I prefer to stay in Le Mans and learn my trade at the club that gave me a chance to be linked with a big club.
"When I arrived at Le Mans nobody knew me, I had to work hard to get into the first-team. Today I am a bit known in Europe.
"Arsenal have spoken to my agents and they are looking at it. Arsenal are a big team, they have made it clear they want me.
"However, (Le Mans director Henri Legarda) is saying no to them. My club is refusing any discussion with Arsenal because they do not want me to go.
"My contract runs out in 2010 and they are keen to extend my deal."

Arsenal revive interest in Real Madrid prospect Parejo
Arsene Wenger is thought to be considering a renewed bid for Real Madrid midfielder Daniel Parejo, despite the player insisting that he is prepared to stay and fight for his place at the Bernabeu.
The 19-year-old caught the eye of the Wenger during last year?s under-19 European Championships and was subject to Arsenal interest in the winter.
Wenger is thought to be prepared to spend £11 million on bringing the Castilla star to the Emirates Stadium.
Parejo said: "For me, it is a compliment that such an important European team is showing interest. I have heard rumours but my intention is very clear - my dream is to succeed in Madrid.
"Nobody dislikes something like that (being compared to Cesc Fabregas) but I prefer to look in the mirror and see Raul, Guti and Iker Casillas, three footballers who have come out of this youth system and have gone on to triumph in Madrid. I am young and I have patience."

QUOTE: Arsenal boss Wenger seeking Thuram talks.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is seeking talks with off contract Barcelona defender Lilian Thuram.
The hugely experienced World Cup winner from a decade ago could help the younger defenders at Arsenal - a ploy successfully used by Wenger's rival Sir Alex Ferguson.
Sir Alex signed Laurent Blanc on a short-term deal in 2001 to help his inexperienced players and Rio Ferdinand has gone on record to say how much Blanc assisted him when he went to Old Trafford from Leeds.
Arsenal, Fulham target Thuram open to England move
Off contract Barcelona defender Lilian Thuram is open to a move to England.
Thuram has been linked with Fulham and Arsenal and said: "Going to a club outside of France is also being discussed. "We'll see. There are clubs in Italy, England, and even in Scotland that could be interested."

Cypriot starlet Christofi wanted by Arsenal, Man Utd
Manchester United and Arsenal are battling for exciting Cypriot prospect Demetris Christofi.
Christofi is seen as one of Europe's hottest young talents. His £800,000 move from ENP FC to Omonoia was a domestic record in Cyprus despite the fact he is only 19.
With United having lost out on Cardiff's Aaron Ramsey, boss Sir Alex Ferguson is desperate to beat Arsene Wenger to the striker's signature.
Christofi has been capped by his country and Omonoia are keen to cash in on their star man to the tune of £3 million, says the People.
